By placing an order with us you are accepting and agreeing to our terms and conditions set out below  and our process times before dispatch. 

When we receive your order it will take us between 3-5 working days to make, create and package your order before we post your parcel.

No problem. Complete the checkout process - don't forget to leave us your message for stamping...

When you arrive at the paypal payment page, Scroll Down and you will see the option to checkout as a guest WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. 

Stamping and engraving your order

When placing your order we will stamp/engrave your message as you have left it in the personalisation box or message to us. Please be mindful of punctuation and use of capitals, if you don't want your message all in capital letters please don't leave your message in all capital letters, be careful of any spelling as once stamped/engraved we cannot change it. Any space between words counts as 1 character. Thank you.

More order Information and a little about hand stamping

We stamp and engrave everything to order.

We do not have any of our non personalised items 'in stock' we create everything for each order as we receive it. -when stamping, the odd 'wonky' letter is not a fault, this is the very nature of hand stamping.

Please keep this in mind when placing an order with us.

We do strive to keep the letters as straight as possible

Any quirks and irregularities are part of the process, letters may not line up evenly and spacing can vary so can the depth of each letter.

These are not considered defects. Rather they add to the charm of each piece. When you receive your item, there will be no other quite the same, truly one of a kind, as no two pieces are ever exactly the same, yours will be totally unique to you.

Engraved text is much more delicate and scratches into the surface, the lettering remains the same colour as the metal.

Custom and personalised orders

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like a custom order the majority of our items can be personalised to your specifications and we will work with you to give you the best design and service that we can.

Our item photographs give an idea of what we can do and we do complete orders as the item shows. There may be times that we may have to use a different font from that shown to make your wording fit the item or rearrange text.

If we then feel your message text is too long we will contact you and offer an alternative arrangement of the wording or ask if you can edit your message down.

Please ensure you tell us the correct message at the time of ordering and that all spellings are correct.

Can I have a message on both sides

The art of hand stamping involves striking the metal with steel stamps by hand with a hammer and there will probably be a slight impression on the reverse side of the item, this is a natural part of the process and cannot be avoided.

Therefore our items can only be stamped on one side unless specifically stated in the item description.

Engraved items, where it allows, can be engraved on both sides.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Unless otherwise shown in the item description, our items come displayed on a card in recyclable polythene resealable packaging.

We then post in a padded envelope.

We can add a personalised note to your order.

At times the packaging/accessories may vary to that shown in the item listing, i.e. there may be a variation to any patterned tissue or ribbon where applicable, or the size/colour of split rings. Our gift pouch may be black or blue, depending on stock.

We don't include a paper copy of your order in your parcel, you have the electronic version stored in your etsy account that you can print off as required... plus it helps the trees.


PLEASE ENSURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR FULL CORRECT ADDRESS- house number/name, flat number, town, city, county and full post code. It is always helpful to have the parcel addressed to a name.

It is the customers responsibility to provide the correct address at checkout.

For guaranteed deliveries and international deliveries please be aware of any  tracking information and that you have made arrangements to accept your delivery.

We are unable to add any note you add to your order for the postal service regarding the delivery / safe place of your parcel to your package


We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address, we can only post to the address we are given on your order, or if you have messaged a change

We post in a padded envelope.

Free postage is Royal Mail 2nd class

When 3 or more items are purchased we post recorded delivery due to order value.

International orders are sent via Royal Mail standard first class post - THERE IS NO TRACKING WITH THIS SERVICE

Postage Upgrade

For UK

Our standard free postage is 2nd class

1st class is available as an upgrade

*Guaranteed delivery from dispatch Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm next working day postage is also available - this guarantees delivery Monday - Friday before 1pm to 99% of mainland UK. Remote areas may be a 2 day delivery we cannot guarantee.

A signature will be required upon delivery with this service

Choosing the guaranteed delivery option does not prioritise your order to be processed quicker - it is simply a guaranteed peace of mind delivery.

Where's my item

If your item is not delivered we follow the Royal Mail guidelines for lost post depending on where it was posted to there will be a time frame of between 10 to 25 working days after Royal Mail's expected delivery date to determine if the item is lost.

Once all obvious avenues have been checked and the item is classed as lost we will replace your item.

If you do not receive your item because you gave an incorrect/incomplete address we will need to wait for the item to be returned to us, we will then resend to a correct address however you will need to pay postage costs.

If your item has been returned to us because it has not been collected from a mail sorting office then we repost however you will be required to pay the postage costs

There's something wrong

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us as soon as possible, within 21 working days of receiving your order,  if left too long we may not be able to sort out any problem with royal mail.

We will do our upmost to resolve the problem quickly.

If the item is faulty or our mistake we will replace the item or refund you.

Personalised orders, once stamped/engraved, cannot be changed or cancelled.

Once your personalised order has been marked as dispatched, it cannot be changed/cancelled.

Non personalised items may be returned, please contact us first we will refund the initial costs on return* of item in new unused condition however Customer to pay return postage. Proof of postage required.

*any postage upgrade purchased will not be refunded, only the cost of standard postage will be reimbursed.

Personalised items cannot be refunded or returned.

We may at times request photographs to ascertain the problem.

To ensure your handstamped wotnot gives many years of service to you please follow these few guidelines to get the best out of your item. The aluminium we use is hypoallergenic, it will not rust. Our brass is pure brass and will oxidise, over time it will become darker, so too will our copper items

Long exposure to perfumes, hairspray, lotions, chemicals and even sweat may have an adverse affect on your item so try to keep these to a minimum.

Use a soft cloth to clean and polish your wotnot, do not use abrasive cleaners.

Warm soapy water will clean your aluminium piece.

If your shiny copper or brass wotnot has had a long journey to get to you then it may need a little polish, we apply a coating to help delay the natural process of oxidisation.

This is when the copper & brass start to darken and take on a natural patina.

It is unavoidable, the copper & brass will darken & take on a rich hue. We think this gives a warm aged look to our items. It's not a fault but to keep the shine, brasso will soon have them looking like new.
