The copper pipe we source is old so does reflect the age in its patina, we do add a little extra dink’s and scuffs and add more patina to give a rustic aged feel to the key ring.

A patina is applied with liver of sulphur. This is a chemical reaction with the copper and each time a slightly different look is achieved. Although the process is the same and the patina is the same the actual colouring and final look will be slightly different to that shown in the item photos.

We apply a coat of wax to our copper items to delay further oxidation but inevitably it will take on a richer hue We think this gives a warm aged look to our items. It's not a fault.

Handstamping involves striking metal with steel stamps by hand and, therefore, there will probably be a slight impression on the reverse side of the item. Any quirks and irregularities are part of the process, letters may not line up evenly and spacing can vary so can the depth of each letter.
These are not considered defects. Rather they add to the charm of each piece,when you receive your item, there will be no other quite the same, truly one of a kind, as no two pieces are ever exactly the same, yours will be totally unique to you
